When a chattel appraiser refers to Titled Equipment, they are talking about machinery or vehicles that require a legal certificate of title issued by a government authority (like a Department of Motor Vehicles or a licensing bureau) to prove ownership.
Unlike standard “on-farm” or “in-factory” industrial machinery, titled equipment is legally registered and tracked similarly to a personal car.
